Similar to many laminate flooring products, luxury vinyl tile can be installed easily and is typically installed as a floating floor option, not requiring it to be glued or fastened to the subflooring surface. Also, just like other flooring materials, it comes in planks of various widths and lengths, which snap or click together. The locking mechanism built into the product creates are a watertight seal, keeping water from penetrating through the floor while making it a quick and easy install for the professional and eager do-it-yourselfer alike.

I have a house in New Jersey. No basement. slab on grade. We have very sandy soil here and many homes (like mine) have had cracks and uneven floors. We actually had to repour my dining room 4 years ago. Because of this, we have always had to use carpeting. I really want wood floors so badly but it would show my uneven floors (carpets hide it so well). Would a LVT flooring work for me? Is there a showroom near Paramus, New Jersey where I could see them in person. I put a laminant floor in my family room years ago but it just doesn’t look like a true hard wood floor. My walls are BM feather grey trimmed in white. I’d like to actually see a grey wood floor or maybe I’ll take a traditional oak look floor. I’d really like to see these floors in person.
